Lennie Swenson. A white woman with blonde hair, smiling, and wearing a green shirt

PT Specialist

Some goals I've worked on with people experiencing neurological and dizziness symptoms include:

  • Return to school

  • Maintaining current employment with appropriate strategies and/or accommodations

  • Increased involvement in family roles (spouse, parent, sibling, caregiver, etc)

  • Improved overall functional mobility for increased independence

  • Return to recreational activities

Knowing how to address complex, neurological conditions requires a high level of skill and experience that isn't typically found in traditional physical therapy practices.  Evidence supports the need to utilize unique skills for individual diagnoses.  Research suggests that standard physical therapy doesn't have the same benefits as diagnosis-specific approaches.

Many people I start working with have already tried physical therapy in the past and often report the experience didn't help or made them feel worse.  Physical therapy is a first-line treatment for many of these complex conditions and can help when done correctly!

It is my great privilege to help you access the healing benefits of physical therapy
